Understand the Misak world view and the intrinsic relationship with sacred spaces, provides guidelines on the management of medicinal plants, fertility, placental sowing, spiritual call of the placenta, uterus healing, harmonization and cleansing, auricular therapies and scare healing and push. In the same way, the main rituals of the life cycles of women are shown, through the use of medicinal plants, animal fats and the four elements of mother nature (water, air, earth and fire)

Misak traditional midwives fulfill vitally important functions in sexual, reproductive and psychological health, accompanying the life cycles, providing advice related to natural norms, fertility, lunar cycles, solar cycles; harmonizing the social and spiritual spaces in the territory.

The Misak territory includes a part of the central mountain range, most of it is moor; however, it runs through several thermal floors, as well as a diversity of food, history, and natural and cultural wealth. It is inhabited by the Pishimisak and kallim (Millennial spirits of the Misak people), accompanied by the spirit of the wasteland, the spirit of the downpour, the spirit of the wind. The midwife misak is the guardian of ancestral knowledge, chosen by the pishimisak and kallim through a magical dream, the mother Agustina received this dream at the age of 12.

Este curso permite adentrarse en la cultura de los hijos del agua y del arco iris, conocer los procesos terapéuticos en atención de partos en casa. Entender la visión del mundo Misak y la intrínseca relación con los espacios sagrados, brinda pautas en el manejo de plantas medicinales, fertilidad, siembra de placenta, llamado espiritual de la placenta, curación de úteros, armonización y limpieza, terapias auriculares, curación de susto y pujo. De igual forma, se muestra los principales rituales de los ciclos de vida de la mujer, a través de utilización de plantas medicinales, grasas de animales y los cuatros elementos de la madre naturaleza (agua, aire, tierra y fuego)

Las parteras tradicionales Misak, cumplen funciones de vital importancia, en la salud sexual, reproductiva y psicológica acompañando en los ciclos de vida, brindando consejos relacionados a las normas naturales, fertilidad, ciclos lunares, ciclos solares; armonizando los espacios sociales y espirituales en el territorio. 

El territorio Misak contempla una parte de la cordillera central, la mayor parte es páramo; sin embargo, recorre varios pisos térmicos, así como diversidad de alimentos, historias y riqueza natural y cultural. En él habita el Pishimisak y kallim (Espiritus milenarios del pueblo Misak), acompañados del espíritu del páramo, espíritu del aguacero, espíritu del viento. La partera misak es guardiana de los conocimientos ancestrales, escogida por el pishimisak y kallim a través de un sueño mágico, la mamita Agustina recibió este sueño a los 12 años de edad.
