Hello family,

Here telling you about the complex moment that Daniel B. González & Sofia Moon are going through in their family, first thanking you for your presence and taking a moment to read this surreal story that we are going to share with you.

This has been a great surprise, a being of light came to the family who came to teach us so much that despite how difficult it has been, all of those who have accompanied us closely feel very honored to be in his presence.

We wrote this short summary to tell you a little about this story and in this way be able to make a call thanking those who can and feel like giving, and those who have given and continue to give.

On November 12, Kūm Sūnqū (the thunder, the lightning, that flash of light from the heart) landed on earth at 3:31 AM, born from the womb of his mother Sofia Moon and accompanied by his father Daniel B. Gonzalez. The family was preparing for a natural birth at home until the moment when Sofia's sudden bleeding began, this led the family to have to emergency move from Filandia, Quindio to Cali, Valle del Cauca, Colombia.

With little finances, health difficulties in the mother, a 17-month-old baby who is their first child, they discovered that the new baby came with a threat of high-risk and premature birth, so with the exams they verified that baby Kūm was unfortunately presenting difficulties in his growth and he came with a malformation in his heart, which led them to the emergency room and having a cesarean delivery at 35 weeks.

This triggered a sequence of examinations at the baby's birth in which they discovered:

* Aortic hypoplasia and coarctation

(Atrophy of the aortic artery and blockage in it)

*Hypoplasia of the left ventricle

(atrophy of the left side of the heart)

*Hypoplasia of the right pulmonary aorta

(Right pulmonary artery atrophy)

* Right lung hypoplasia

(atrophy of the left side of the heart) 

Those who understand more about the medical arts, anatomy and physiognomy explain to us that he practically arrived with half a heart, half a lung and kidneys in a horseshoe, currently they keep open the venous artery through which he was fed in the mother's womb with prostin a medication that temporarily sustains him until the surgical intervention is achieved, which must be done within the next 3 weeks until the baby already has an optimal weight to support the very high-risk operation, which he gains little by little through parenteral feeding or TPN.

It is a great attempt to solve his physiological complexity (the first intervention of several) and to begin to create ways in which he can live a dignified life with the necessary functioning to grow and stay on earth with us.

This is such a unique case that even doctors have found themselves having to look for treatments that for many of them will be the first time applying...and they have basically and they have told us that if the baby comes out of this it is incredible...or for us a miracle.

The next intervention could easily be in 6 months again, and so on, depending on the progress, the next step will be marked.

We are aware that above all the most important thing is the baby's benefit and that this will go as far as God and Kūm decide, we are there to care for, accompany and give him the love to contribute towards a dignified life with improvements always.

As you can imagine, this has been not easy to process for everyone from the baby onwards, such as his mother, father, little sister and those closest to him.

Sustaining this process and caring for the family while life moves forward with its responsibilities has been a great challenge for everyone.

We have been deeply grateful for all those who have shown up to be supportive since without each of them and their contributions we would not know how we would have achieved this.

And so we are listening moment by moment as life guides us to be able to walk through this uncertain time full of many sensations.

So we appreciate any support that can continue to be provided, be it a prayer, a financial contribution or with the resources that contribute to a time in which we will be dedicated to accompanying the family and together we offer that hand of solidarity and love in the growth of baby Kum & Aiawa his big sister.

Contributions will go towards:

* Health costs that vary depending on what happens from time to time, treatments that are not covered by insurance for both Kūm and his family, which they have also had to receive, such as the recovery of Sofia's diet, therapeutic support, etc. that are part of contributing towards their well-being to be able to give Kum and Aiawa more stable support.

* Cost of living for the months of recovery since in addition to this being a very complex quarantine, parents are between home and the clinic daily.

These include:

Food, housing, monthly payments, gasoline, parking, basic living expenses, etc.

* In addition to this, they have several projects which are their daily livelihood that they need to keep alive to fulfill the responsibilities already made with the network of people who have these projects and also ensure that they do not let themselves be extinguished while they sustain and live this process, in which volunteers and people who want to contribute their time to them to keep them alive or funds that want to be invested in their growth are also received so that everyone can continue generating a livelihood for all.

Hola Familia, 

Aqui contandoles sobre el momento tan complejo que están atravezando Daniel B. González & Sofia Moon en su nucleo familiar, primero agradeciendoles por su presencia y tomarse un momento de leer esta historia tan surreal que les vamos a compartir. 

Esto ha sido una gran sorpresa, llego a la familia un ser de luz que vino a enseñarnos tanto tanto que a pesar de lo dificil que ha sido también todos los que hemos acompañado nos sentimos muy honrados de estar en su presencia. 

Escribimos este pequeño resumen para contarles un poco de esta historia y de esa manera poder hacer un llamado agradeciendo el apoyo de quienes puedan y sientan darlo, y los que han dado y siguen dando. 

En noviembre 12 aterrizo en la tierra Kūm Sūnqū (el trueno, el rayo, ese destello de  luz de el corazón) a las 3:31 AM nacio del vientre de su madre Sofia Luna y acompañado por  su padre Daniel B. Gonzalez. Quienes venian encaminandose para parto natural en casa hasta el momento en el cual empezo un sangrado repentino esto llevo a la familia a tener que mudarse de emergencia de Filandia, Quindio a Cali, Valle del Cauca, Colombia.

Con poca economia,  dificultades de salud en la madre, una bebe de 17 meses que es su primera hija,  descubrieron que el nuevo bebe venia con una amenza de parto de alto riesgo y prematuro, asi con los examanes comprobaron que bebe Kūm desafortunadamente estaba presentando difcultades en su crecimiento y venia con una mal formacion en su corazón, lo cual los llevo a emergencias y tener un parto por cesaria a las 35 semanas. 

Esto desencadeno una sequencia de examenes al nacer el bebe en el cual han descubierto: 

* Hipoplasia aortica y coartacion 

(Atrofia de la arteria aortica y bloqueo en la misma) 

* Hipoplasia del ventriculo izquierdo

(atrofia del lado izquierdo del corazón) 

* Hipoplasia de la aorta pulmonar derecha

(Atrofia de la arteria pulmonar derecha) 

* Hipoplasia pulmonar derecha 

(atrofia del lado izquierdo del corazón) 

Quienes entienden más de las artes medicas, de anatomia y fisionomia nos explican que practicamente llego con medio corazón, medio pulmon y riñones en herradura,  actualmente mantienen abierta la arteria venosa por donde se alimentaba en el vientre de la madre con prostin un medicamento que lo sostiene temporalmente hasta que se logre la intervencion quirurgica lo cual debe hacerse dentro de las siguientes 3 semanas que el bebe ya cuente con un peso optimo para soportar la operacion,  lo cual lo va ganando poco a poco por medio de alimentacion parenteral o TPN. 

Como un gran intento para solucionar su complejidad fisiologica ( la primera intervencion de varias)  y empezar a crear formas en las que él pueda vivir una vida digna y con el funcionamiento necesario para crecer y mantenerse en la tierra con nosotros. 

Este es un caso tan unico que hasta los medicos se han visto encontrados con buscar tratamientos que para muchos de ellos sera la primera vez aplicando ...y que basicamente nos han dicho que si el bebe sale de esto es increible...o para nosotros un milagro. 

La proxima intervencion facilmente puede ser en 6 meses de nuevo, y asi susesivamente dependiendo del Progreso se ira marcando el proximo paso. 

Nosotros somos concientes que ante todo lo mas importante es su beneficio y que esto llegará hasta donde Dios y Kūm decidan, estamos ahi para cuidar, acompañar y darle amor para contribuir hacia una vida digna y con mejoramientos siempre. 

Como se podran imaginar esto ha sido muy dificil de procesar para todos desde el bebe como su madre, padre y hermanita y sus más allegados. 

Sostener este proceso y cuidar de la familia mientras la vida avanza con sus responsabilidades ha sido un gran reto para todos. 

Hemos estado agradecidos profundamente por todos aquellos que han aparecido a ser un apoyo ya que sin cada uno de ellos y sus contribuciones no sabriamos como lo hubieramos logrado. 

Y asi pues estamos escuchando momento a momento como nos va guiando la vida a poder caminar este tiempo tan incierto lleno de muchas sensaciones.

Asi pues agradecemos cualquier apoyo que se pueda seguir brindando, sea un rezo , un aporte economico o con los recursos que contribuyen a un tiempo en el cual estaremos dedicados a acompañar a la familia y entre todos brindamos esa mano solidaria y amorosa en el crecimiento de la niña y el bebe. 

Las contribuciones irán hacia: 

* Los costos de salud que varian segun lo que vaya diciendo cada momento, tratamientos que no cubre el seguro tanto de kūm, como tambien de su familia los cuales tambien han tenido que recibir, como por ejemplo la recuperacion de dieta de Sofia, apoyo terapeutico, etc que son parte de aportar hacia el bienestar de ellos para poderle dar a kum y Aiawa un sosten mas estable. 

* Costo de vida por los meses de recuperacion ya que ademas de esta ser una cuerentena muy compleja, los padres estan entre la casa y la clinica diariamente.

Estos incluyen:

Alimentacion, vivienda , pagos mensuales, gasolina, Parqueadero, Gastos basicos de vida, etc. 

* Ademas de esto ellos tienen varios proyectos los cuales son su sustento Diaro que necesitan mantener con vida para cumplir las responsabilidades ya hechas con el tejido de personas que cuenta con estos proyectos y ademas asegurarse que no se dejen apagar mientras que ellos sostienen y viven este proceso, en lo cual se reciben tambien voluntarios y personas que quieran contribuir su tiempo hacia ellos para mantenerlos vivos o fondos que quieran ser inventidos en su crecimiento para que asi todos puedan seguir generando un sustento para todos.
